We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Upper GI Surgeon to join our a medical team in Northamptonshire. As a Consultant Upper GI Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in providing expert surgical care for patients with disorders related to the upper gastrointestinal tract.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting clinical assessments and providing accurate diagnoses for patients with upper GI conditions.
  • Performing a wide range of upper GI surgical procedures.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and high-quality patient care.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development to stay abreast of advancements in the field.
  • Participating in teaching and training activities for junior medical staff and students.

Requirements:

  • GMC (General Medical Council) registration
  • FRCS (Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons) qualification
  • NHS experience
